MAIN FEATURES

AEROFORM
Streamlined design creates high aerodynamic performance and sportiness.
The new design inherits the top design, which is a feature of the GT-Air series and contributes to stability while riding, while enhancing the unity of the shell and parts.
Both sides of the shell are newly equipped with side parts that contribute to shock absorption performance and have a high effect on the aerodynamic performance of the helmet. The design is sporty and matches a variety of styles, and has an aero form that makes touring more comfortable.

Newly designed ventilation system with the utmost efficiency
The upper air intake is designed to efficiently introduce the wind into the helmet by using the tip shape of the base part, ribs, and shutter shape.
The top air outlet pursues the position where the wind flow speed on the shell surface is the highest while riding, and the exhaust volume is improved by placing the outlet hole forward compared to the conventional model. High ventilation efficiency is achieved throughout the helmet, making riding more comfortable.

The amount of air flowing in from the upper air intake and the amount of air exhausted from the top air outlet are compared with the conventional model. Compared to the conventional model, the amount of air flowing in has increased by approximately 1.2 times, and the amount of air exhausted has increased by approximately 1.8 times.

The lower air intake is equipped with a removable defroster filter to prevent insects from getting in. In addition, by attaching the included Breath Guard K, not only can you prevent the shield from fogging up due to your breath, but it also draws some of the wind around your mouth, reducing the feeling of breathlessness inside the helmet.

QSV-2 Sun visor

Inner sun visor allows instant response to changing visibility conditions
When the sun is strong during the day, the inner sun visor can be lowered to reduce the glare of the sun, and at night or in a tunnel, the sun visor can be stored and the clear shield can be used to ensure visibility. The GT-Air3 is also equipped with the QSV-2 sun visor, which can be instantly switched to suit the riding environment and has high optical performance comparable to European sunglasses standards.

SHIELD SYSTEM
A shield system that achieves smooth operation and high airtightness
The GT-Air3 is equipped with the CNS-1C shield, which is a center lock system that has been added to the CNS-1 shield used in the previous model. By placing the shield lock in the center, it reduces deflection when opening and closing, and improves the balance of adhesion between the shield and the window rubber (window beading) on ​​the left and right. In addition, adding a rib to the bottom of the shield increases the rigidity of the shield, realizing smoother operation.

CNS-1C Shield

The standard anti-fog sheet prevents fogging even in environments where the shield is prone to fogging, such as when riding in the rain or when the temperature drops, and ensures clear visibility. The CNS-1C has a different height for the upper rib than conventional shields, preventing interference with the window rubber (window beading) when the anti-fog sheet is installed.

INTERIOR PARTS
Pursuing comfort in a variety of environments
The comfort of a helmet is directly related to the comfort of riding. The interior surface fabric of the GT-Air3 uses a hybrid of moisture-absorbing and quick-drying fabric and brushed fabric. By placing moisture-absorbing and quick-drying fabric on the forehead and cheeks, which are prone to sweating, discomfort caused by sweat is reduced even when riding in hot weather. In addition, soft brushed fabric is used for the area near the opening, which is likely to rub against the skin when putting on and taking off the helmet, pursuing comfort in all situations.

SHOEI COMLINK
Specially designed communication system attachment mechanism that integrates with the helmet design
The GT-Air3 is a SHOEI COMLINK compatible model equipped with a specially designed communication system attachment mechanism. The attachment part is more compact than the conventional model, and when the specially designed communication system is attached, it is integrated with the helmet design at a higher level.

EMERGENCY QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM

Emergency helmet removal system in case of an accident

EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) is a device that makes it easy to remove and put on the helmet so that a third party can quickly perform rescue operations in the unlikely event that the rider needs rescue in the event of an accident. The cheek pads are equipped with a special ribbon. When providing rescue, the cheek pads can be pulled out by pulling the ribbon, allowing the cheek pads that hold the cheeks to be removed. This makes it easy to remove the helmet from the person in need of rescue.

*Do not use EQRS when removing cheek pads for maintenance or other purposes.
